Simon Dell is a wildlife photographer & the creator of George the Mouse in a Log Pile House. Between visits with his wild mouse friends, he enjoys strolling the countryside near his home in Yorkshire, England.

Rebecca Atanassova
Rebecca Atanassova is an American children’s book author. Her book, Your Heart Can Hold the Whole Universe, is an Independent Press Award winner. Just like George, Rebecca is a believer in following your whiskers (and your heart).

Illustrator
Alissa Hansen is a fine artist and illustrator primarily working in watercolor and ink. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art, with an emphasis in drawing, from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. While painting, Alissa is often amused by silly squirrel antics in the oak trees outside her studio windows.

Rachel MacKnight is the publisher behind the George the Mouse book series, inspired by Simon Dell’s charming Log Pile Village. When she’s not working closely with this incredibly talented creative team, Rachel treasures time with her husband, son, and sweet dog Coco. She also loves to travel, finding inspiration everywhere along the way.
